Our natural soaps are handmade according to the cold process method. This means that you mix vegetable oils and butters with lye. Lye is a mixture of water with sodium hydroxide. During the mixing process all ingredients are saponified. This is called the saponification process. After 6 weeks of drying, the saponification is complete. The sodium hydroxide has now completely disappeared. The great thing is that natural glycerine is created during the saponification process. This is naturally present in every piece of cold process soap from DAY 1.

Martijn & Katjana developed the range when one of their children developed allergies to most bath and shower products. This was in 2019. Our office is in Amsterdam. The workshop is in Heemstede.

For orders for the Netherlands, it takes 1-2 business days for them to arrive. European orders between 2-7 business days. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details are stated in your confirmation email.
